There is an updated version of the
getcolors function available in the
sinkr package, called
getcolors2. The
previous version allowed for the visual selection of colors from a palette of 216 colors. This updated version uses a more natural color palette with a rainbow gradient on the x-axis and lightness on the y-axis. Following a series of color selections via clicks, the function returns the vector of chosen colors that can later be used in a plot:
